Mike Anthony started his legal career by helping entrepreneurs in the areas of general business and real estate. This grew his passion for serving those who serve others …. which is the foundation of Anthony Law today. Since then Mike’s decades of experience in litigation and transactional matters have taught him to understand the risks and compliance issues that growing businesses face. His advice is practical, and his number-one goal is to protect entrepreneurs and their businesses. Mike is a problem solver who works best when the tensions are high and the issues are complicated.
Mike is married and lives in Genoa Township. He enjoys tennis, golf, pickleball, reading, and working on his yard with his wife, Julie. He also enjoys time with his parents in Naples, Florida, and his in-laws in Apple Valley, Ohio.

Won largest jury award verdict in Franklin County in 2014 in construction litigation; obtained jury verdict in excess of $1.5 million
Represents one of the largest industrial solutions providers in the US for all of their warehouse leasing needs throughout the country
Successfully defended a client in the healthcare industry before the Department of Medicaid in a license termination case
Obtained a denial on a motion for summary judgment related to a breach of contract claim, tortious interference claim, and fraud claim on behalf of a commercial tenant resulting in a favorable settlement
Represented an out of state truss manufacturer involved in construction litigation related to mixed use property in downtown Columbus
Drafted the asset and real estate purchase contracts for the fastest-growing trampoline park operator in Ohio, including multiple purchases of facilities exceeding 30,000 sq. ft. throughout the United States
Negotiated and drafted the largest Central Ohio lease transaction of 2016, a commercial lease agreement for a rapidly expanding information technology company with tenant build-out costs of over $2,000,000 and gross rents throughout the term of the agreement in excess of $10,000,000
Drafted business contracts for a top retailer in the United States, including warranty and other provisions associated with consumer transactions
Drafted and negotiated construction-related agreements for one of the largest home improvement companies in Central Ohio
Drafted and negotiated a $4,000,000+ real estate purchase contract associated with an apartment complex.
